Meet the cast

Jessica Curtiss

Scarecrow, Wind

Tasha Danner

Glenda, Guard, Wind, Monkey

Tasha always loves being back at Chapel, especially to sing to music from the 60’s and 70’s with live bands! She was last seen here as Dale Arden in Flash-Ah-Ahh and as the Mother with many crazy different names in Trail to Oregon. She has also performed at Broadway Rose (Waitress, Mamma Mia!), Lakewood Theatre (Holiday Inn, Godspell, The Kiss,Young Frankenstein), triangle (Arbus & West, JC: Gospel According to an Angel, Forever Dusty), and Bridgetown (Dogfight), among others. Tasha sings rock n roll with her band Blert and plays the banjo every single day. She may still be best known for her role as herself as a mere teenager on Disney’s All New Mickey Mouse Club! Tasha thanks Neal and her two cats for their love and constant support.

Ariana Harris

Wicked Witch of the East, Doctor, Guard, Monkey

Sarah Magen

Tinman, Munchkin

Danielle Neblock

The Wizard of Oz, Guard, Junkie, Munchkin, Monkey

Dani is grateful to be back at Chapel for the run of Wizard of Floyd
. She is a Portland-based performance artist of mixed heritage with a deep love of the fringe arts. She performs burlesque under the stage name Carmen San Diablo where she focuses on film-fed acts with a comedic twist. She also enjoys performing aerial arts, improv, and teaches workshops on pole dance and adjacent styles. She would like to dedicate this performance to her Dad, who tried to convince her Pink Floyd was cool as a child. Accountability is important so here it is; Dad, you were right, I was wrong. I’m sorry I made you play the soundtrack to CATS instead, and I love you.

Megan Perkins

Caitlin Rose

Cowardly Lion, Munchkin

Blake Stone

Caitlin Upshaw

Wicked Witch of the West, Monkey, Nurse, Director, Mayor

Caitlin Upshaw: Caitlin is thrilled to be making her Chapel Theatre debut! She most recently appeared as Ma Ferd in Anonymous Theatre’s The Toxic Avenger and as the Witch in Into the Woods (Funhouse). Some favorite Portland-area roles include Ruth in Pirates of Penzance (Anonymous Theatre), Sarah in Company (Broadway Rose), and several turns with Lakewood Theatre Company’s Lost Treasures Collection. Caitlin studied acting at NYU before somehow ending up in law school, and she often wonders what she was thinking. By day, she is a very nice HR lady, but she moonlights as a voice teacher and cautious outdoorswoman.  Thanks to Liz and our sweet kids for all their support!
