Looking ahead to your summer schedule? We have a few options for camps for youth!
Perform and Play Acting Camp
July 7 – July 10, 2025
For youth age 5-8
10am-2pm
Taught by Amanda Healy and David Silverman
Students will have an opportunity to learn from Chapel Theatre professionals in the areas of acting, movement theatre, improv, and will end the week with a showcase of what they learned. Parents are invited to come and see their student perform on Thursday of camp week!
New Camp: Create a Film Performance Camp
July 14 – July 17, 2025
For youth age 8-12
9am-3pm
Taught by David Silverman and Amanda Healy
This camp is perfect for students who are interested in learning more about acting for the camera. The camp will focus on writing a movie script, storyboarding, acting for the camera skills, and in the end, the students will create a short film together. On Thursday, students will watch the film, give feedback, talk about the outcome, and families will be invited to come watch the film at 2pm.
Summer Performance Camp
July 28-31, 2025
For youth age 8-12
9am-3pm
Taught by Amanda Healy
You will have one quick week to learn all you need to know to put on a production at the end of the week for your families and friends. Everything from learning a character to learning lines to stage direction to props and more!
Camp will go from Monday – Wednesday 9am-3pm, with a show on Thursday at 2pm. Thursday camp will still start at 9am, and you will leave with your families after the show.
Beginners are welcome! As well as students with more experience. We will find space for you all.
Behind the Scenes Production Camp

Aug 4-7, OR Aug 11-14, 2025
For youth age 8-12
Taught by David Silverman
Interested in theater but not necessarily interested in being on stage? We have a really great opportunity for you! Spend a week learning the behind the scenes magic of the theater. You can choose between directing, stage managing, lighting, sound, props and costumes, and more. These roles are integral parts of making a production happen without the stage fright.
Monday – Wednesday, camp runs 9am-3pm. Thursday there is a 2pm performance for friends and families; start time will still be 9am and you will leave after the performance ends.
