Releasing Generational Trauma For Folk of Color & Allies With Heart

  • Tuesday, July 14
  • 7pm-9pm
  • Donations accepted for the class below

Through discussion, anatomy, movement, and breath, we’ll explore ways to unwind post-traumatic stress in the body in this two hour workshop. We’ll learn self-care tools you can use every day to slow and reset the nervous system.

Facilitated by Hamid Shibata Bennett, LMT, CAMTII (OBMT #301). Hamid is a myofascial bodyworker specializing in complex pain, trauma, and cancer survivorship. He is also photographer for the City of Milwaukie, Oregon and North Clackamas Parks & Rec District, a multi-instrumental musician, singer, recording artist, sound therapist, producer, Chair of the Milwaukie Arts Committee, and rare cancer survivor.

Let’s keep one another safe during this worldwide pandemic. Workshop size will be limited to 14 participants. We’ll all wear masks, practice social distancing, and please stay home if you’re unwell.
